Start-Up Plan
In order to expedite the desired level of cleanliness and maintain
this level on continuous basis it is SUGGESTED (but not pertinent
to proposal acceptance) that the
following services be performed at your facility.
It is preferred that these sevices be performed on a weekend basis
(prior to regular
service start date) if possible, especially if floor or carpet is
needed.
INITIAL CLEANING SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED;
- Complete strip, wax, seal, and buff all designated hardfloor
areas.
- All office doors and door frames cleaned removing smudges and
hand prints.
- Remove, wash and re-hang metal mini blinds.
- Clean all window ledges, removing dust and cob webs from high
and low dusting areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, wash walls, partitions, sinks,
toilets, waste receptacles, and ceiling vents.
- Clean and polish all baseboards.
- Carpeted traffic areas will be shampooed and hot steam cleaned
upon request.
Initial Cleaning Services at the cost of $ FREE of CHARGE
STANDARD OF WORK
- Trash Remove : Remove all trash from wastebaskets,
cigarette butt receptacles, and Other trash containers within
buildings and return the containers to their original locations.
Plastic receptacles liners shall be replaced as necessary. If
any leakage has occurred, the waste receptacle shall be thoroughly
washed inside and outside. Trash is to be replaced in designated
trash collection areas in such a manner as to prevent scattering
and minimizing mess.
- Floors, Carpeted : Carpets shall be thoroughly
vacuumed with an industrial type vacuum cleaner and inspected
for spots. When spots appear, they shall be removed with an approved
industrial-grade spot removing solution using the manufacturer’s
Recommended techniques.
The carpet floors shall be free of all visible litter and soil.
- Floors, Uncarpeted : All uncarpeted floors shall
be swept with treated dust mop, then wet mopped with a non-toxic
detergent solution. The entire floor surface, including corners
and abutments, shall be free of litter, soil, dust and foreign
matter, stains, streaks, film, mop streaks and splash marks.
Chairs, trash receptacles, and easily movable items shall be moved
and the floor cleaned underneath. Wax shall be removed from furniture
legs, cabinets, baseboards and door jambs.
Clean mops only shall be used.
- Dusting : Dusting shall remove all accumulated
dust and debris from surfaces, corners, crevices in such manner
that it will not quickly resettle.
Each windows sill, desk top, tops of partitions, office furniture,
picture frame, etc. shall be individually feather dusted
and wiped with treated rags.
- Walls and doors shall be free of streaks, marks, smudges and
fingerprints.
- Air vents and ceiling not more than twelve (12’) feet
in height above the floor shall be kept free of dust, marks or
smudges.
- Windows : interior windows, mirrors, sills frames,
casings, display cases, glass door and any other glass surface
shall be free of all traces of film, dirt, streaks, smudges, water
spots and other foreign matter.
- Restrooms : Floors, drains, toilets, and urinal
shall be washed with a germicidal solution. Surface shall be free
of odors, dirt, deposits, soap film, stains and splash marks.
- Disinfecting : surface shall be thoroughly washed
with a disinfectant solution.
Telephones shall be wiped clean with a disinfectant solution.
- Elevators and Stairways : Elevator doors, frameworks
and call button panels at each level shall be appropriately cleaned
and disinfected. Floors shall be swept / or vacuumed and cab shall
be free of all litter and debris. Stairways shall be cleaned of
all litter and debris. Stairways shall be cleaned of all litter
and debris. Handrail shall be cleaned.
